Music education at MSC begins with Eurhythmics, through our affiliation with the Lucy Moses School. Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes, a program for the early grades, use rhythm games, creative movement, songs, stories and dramatic play to encourage children to listen carefully and to respond expressively with their whole bodies. The MSC program develops sequentially across the grades to include recorder instruction in grade 3 and small group string classes are provided through the Department of Education for grades 4 and up.
