Primarily for reasons relating to curriculum — in order to more closely address the developmental needs of our students — MSC is divided into three houses: Lower House (Kindergarten through Grade 3), Intermediate House (Grades 4 through 6) and Academy (Grades 7 and 8.) Studies show that sixth grade can be an especially difficult year for children, which is why Grade 6 is grouped with the Intermediate House.
